Promising review: "It is my habit to read the negative reviews to see if there is an aspect that will be intolerable. When a magazine had an ad for a sample, it was a no-brainer. After trying the product for nearly a week with excellent results every night and waking up with a moist mouth every morning, I was hooked. It is puzzling that reviewers said there was slime--not so. Some said they taste awful, but there is NO taste. Some said they were uncomfortable; perhaps they are being used improperly. After about 20 seconds there is no longer a noticeable feeling in the mouth. Probably the reviewers who said it helped them despite Sjogren's or post chemo should be the gold standard as evidence of product efficacy. These are definitely worth trying! I am recommending them all over the place." - L. Smith
Promising review: "Absolutely the best product on the market for anyone who has suffered a serious surgery with nerve damage to the mouth and gums. It provides relief from the extreme dry mouth. Can be taken at night to provide sleep and rest. You can count on this product to provide some relief. My damage is permanent and zylamelts is the only product that provides me some relief. I can not say enough about this product to those who suffer from damage from complicated surgeries and damage from Chemo. Even Dry mouth from medication that is extremely painful. The adhesive back helps with sleeping and rest. I will continue to use this product as long as it is available. I use it every day of my life. I thank my surgeons for telling me about this product." - Amazon Customer
"If you are doing chemotherapy, there is a chance you'll experience weird mouth problems. Some people get thrush, some people get cancer sores, and just really sore gums and tongue.
Regardless, it super-sucks.
I used Biotene gel, and it was great for easy of use, and traveling. You want to take it with you, if you go out, cause if it's really bad, it's so uncomfortable and can make eating a nightmare.
If you are experiencing mouth sores and are on chemotherapy, I HIGHLY recommend you get the Biotene AND start drinking a lot of water. Probably 3x's more than what your're drinking now....I say that because most of us don't drink enough water in general, and chemo is so hard on your body, you need a lot more than usual.
The more you stay hydrated, the less severe the side effects.
That was my experience anyway.

Promising review: "I have the side effects of stage 4 tonsil cancer and this because they had to givee me the most radiation and chemo that a human can take, my mouth gets so dry I need this as it keeps my mouth wet for a while. Jesus healed the cancer, but I am left with many side effects including this one." - sharon nye

Promising review: "I'm going through chemo and radiation on my neck (yay me!) My mouth is horribly dry but also has sores and is sensitive from the radiation.
So ANY mint is ramped up and wow... it hurts.
So these are great because they work for dry mouth last long and have NO MINT flavor, it's just a nice mellow lemon.
If you want a little mint, their other flavor is good also It's not *too* minty." - WhippetRun
Price: $3.97 ($0.22 / Count)

They are available, free, to those clients still fighting the good fight our OHA chemo center. Jill, who runs Chemo Buddies tells me that these are just fabulous for helping with the dry mouth, lips as a consequence of chemotherapy. HINT to provider: Would really like these to be available in Mint flavors too!" - Mary A

Promising review: "I just finished 12 months of cancer treatment, and between the chemo, radiation and all the "after care" drugs, my mouth is so dry I can barely swallow sometimes. I love these lozenges, they have a nice mild spearmint taste and really do the trick. I bought 6 boxes and have one in the car, on the night stand, one at work, one in the kitchen and one on my art table. Great purchase" - Happy Gal
Promising review: "nice tasting, does the job , great for sjogren's disease patients or chemo patients" - Laurie Nelson
Promising review: "Biotene makes the best products. I bought this for my brother who is undergoing Chemotherapy at the moment. He needs this to ensure that his mouth doesn't become to try during his treatments causing him to get painful sores. Chemo is pretty bad stuff! But - he's doing ok, and we take this to all of his Chemo treatments. Fits nicely in his pocket." - Yo
Promising review: "My wife has battled two cancers. The latest was stomach cancer. The chemo and radiation has caused serious dry mouth problems for her. Therabreath has given her the best relief, with no serious side effects. I will purchase this product again. We found the lowest prices for this product on Amazon." - Carl a rilling

Promising review: "This was recommended during a dental continuing education class. Dry mouth, whether from medications, radiation or chemo is a huge risk for cavities. These bites help keep the mouth moist, and improve risk against cavities. I got them for someone starting chemo. I've been told keeping the mouth healthy before treatment begins helps keep it healthier during treatment. The 'Moisyn' dry mouth spray and spry xylitol products are also used in this protocol" - Synchromom56
Promising review: "Doing chemo right now, and these arrived as part of a care package from a friend. They are wonderful! Gets the bad taste out of my mouth, soothes my throat, calms me. So I am buying more. Not cheap, but as my husband said "If you can feel better for $1.25, would you hesitate to use it?" Um, no hesitation at all.
Really good for the middle of the night when I wake up with dry mouth, but water tastes terrible. (Have not tried the other flavors.)" - I. Celmins
Promising review: "I received these in a chemo care package from a friend and I love them! They taste great and really help to keep my mouth from being dry." - Katrina K. Saacke
Promising review: "Through chemo my mouth becomes so dry I can hardly speak because my lips and inner cheeks are so dry they just stick together like glue. I used prescription “magic mouthwash” and all the Biotine products , with no results. These are the only things that have worked! They used to carry them at Walmart, which was more convenient and less expensive, but I have to have them, so I’m happy Amazon carry’s them!" - Susan P.
